On Air with Radio Trackback

Tonight we will be guest of weekly published radio broadcast Trackback on radio Fritz. We hope that we can talk about some more details on registration for BarCamp Berlin 3 .

If you’re located in Berlin or Brandenburg you should turn your radio to one of the frequencies listed here. Otherwise you will find a live stream on the Fritz website.

The show starts at 6pm.

Heute wird geklärt, warum eine Fernsehserie ins Netz zieht, warum ein Seuchenausbruch in Indien auch in Europa funktioniert, wie ein Musiker durch Auftragsarbeit Geld verdienen kann und was ein 256 Plaste-LED-Knöpfe dabei für eine Rolle spielen können und was uns auf dem dritten Berliner Barcamp erwartet.

Recent pl0gcast dealing with BarCamp Berlin 3

In their recently released pl0gcast #07 Johannes Kleske, Sebastian Grünwald Christin Heuser and Florian Krakau are talking about the upcoming registration for BarCamp Berlin 3 and a week in October, which will be full of events - including another pl0gbar!

Announcement: This Year’s Venue and Registration

Today we were able to finally announce this year’s location of BarCamp Berlin 3. Some of you maybe participated in the little riddle we posted before.

Venue

The BarCamp Berlin 3 will take place at the “Hauptstadtrepräsentanz” (Berlin Representative Office) of the Deutsche Telekom. It’s located right in the center of the city. It offers a huge amount of space, modern technological infrastructure and at the same time a rich sense of history: It has been an important building for German telecommunications since the 19th century and the former residence of the “Kaiserliches Haupttelegraphenamt” (Imperial Head Office of Telegraphy). Furthermore, the first German telephone line was established here in 1877.
