Some of you are already following our official Twitter account bcberlin3 and our Twitter bot bcb08 which automatically retweets updates from the public timeline whenever the #bcberlin3 hashtag is used. If your account is set to protected and you wish your update to be retweeted anyway, send a reply to our bot by typing “@bcb08″ followed by your message.
Now we’ve launched BarCamp-O-Mat which simply adds a tiny BarCamp logo to your existing Twitter profile picture. Just type in your twitter username to generate a set of four profile pictures from which you can choose. Save it to your desktop, upload it to Twitter and you’re done.
Use this kind of “exclusive merchandise” to announce that you’re going to show up on BarCamp Berlin 3. It might be an easy way to find buddies nearby and opportunities for sharing a car, train or room.
